Updates on highway 24 construction projects

The City of Manhattan is continuing forward with various construction projects along Highway 24 East of Manhattan.

City Manager Ron Fehr says there has been significant progress with the work being done on the US 24 and Levee Drive intersection.

Fehr says residents can also expect workers to begin laying pavement on US 24 as far east as Excel Road.

Fehr also notes the city is looking for consultants to assist with the US 24 East Manhattan Gateway Study to update the comprehensive plan and find ways to address land use and infrastructure issues as the area continues to develop.
