Intermittent fasting is a process in which a person can eat only during a set window of six to eight hours every day. The fasting method has become quite popular among celebrities, including Jack Dorsey, Jennifer Aniston, and former NFL player Rob Gronkowski.
However, actor Mark Wahlberg is not in favor of intermittent fasting and he prefers a healthy breakfast over it.
The Mile 22 actor told CNBC,
"For me, I’ve dealt with the ketone fad and intermittent fasting and all that stuff, but I’m old school. I like to eat small, healthy meals every three hours."
The actor also revealed that his co-workers tried to persuade him into intermittent fasting but he was adamant. Wahlberg shared, "I like to eat when I get up. I want to eat."
Wahlberg also once got into an argument with a cardiothoracic surgeon and TV host Mehmet Oz. The doctor had told TMZ on January 10 that he's banning breakfast in 2020 because it's an advertising ploy and not really based on the truth about the health of people.
Wahlberg stated to TMZ on the following day,
"Listen, I don't care what Dr. Oz says, I gotta have my breakfast before I work out, that's my preference."

"I take my vitamins so I need food to hold my vitamins. So, I eat eggs and a little bit of oatmeal with blueberries, and then I have my protein shake after the workout. I like eating every two and a half to three hours."
The action hero shared that eating in small breaks works best for him.
