Curb work prompts temporary lane closure on Riverside Drive

Drivers in South Bend will have to avoid construction for a few weeks.

Starting Saturday, the northbound lane of Riverside Drive from Boland Drive to Cleveland Road will be closed.

Crews will do curb work on the median islands during the closure.

Traffic will be detoured to Portage Avenue and Cleveland Road.

The southbound lane will not be impacted by this project.

Work is expected to wrap up November 22.
